Day 5 - Final Day in Hot Vegas

Inside Bellagio

The Group in Vegas

 Don't blow away up there!

In the Party Bus After the Show

We started our day with a drive up and down the Las Vegas Strip. We discovered the Bellagio, which is much more than a simple hotel.  We did a lot of walking and shopping and noticed a profound difference between the day life and the nightlife.  Las Vegas is truly a “city that never sleeps”.  In the afternoon, we went to the Stratasphere, which is the tallest building in Las Vegas.  We had a beautiful view of the city and could see for miles around.  Some of our group were brave enough to go on the rides on the top of the tower.  At dinner, we had the opportunity to give a touch of international flavor by singing sing happy birthday to Genny from Thailand in our different native languages.  After dinner we enjoyed more of the city, while some of our group went to see Cirque du Soleil.  As we are writing this bolg, we are enjoying some last moments of Las Vegas style by the pool and spa under a beautiful purple sky.

While some of our group was relaxing at the pool the other group went back to the Bellagio to see one of most famous shows of the Cirque Du Soleil called “O” which can just be seen in Vegas because of it’s unique stage that can switch from dry ground to water in seconds. From our seats at the balcony, we saw an amazing show with great dances and acrobatic acts. The combination of water, music, fantasy costumes, and the great artists who could bend their body in some crazy ways while flying trough the air was breathtaking. Everybody was especially amazed by the long time frame the artists could hold their breath under water while performing. Afterwards we got a surprise ride in a party bus and we had the chance to sing and dance in the neon lights until we arrived at the hotel!
