Day 9 - Beverly Hills to Merced, CA

Today we started off going to the Griffith Observatory in order to get a clear view of the Hollywood sign. There, we had fun taking a lot of pictures. In the morning it was really foggy to begin with, but as soon as we got to Beverly Hills, the sky cleared up and it was a warm and sunny day. First, we went to see the famous Beverly Hills sign and took even more pictures. Afterwards we had free time to go shopping and have a bite to eat. Some of the girls visited stores like GAP or Victoria’s Secret which had great sales, while others checked out higher end shops like Louis Vuitton. Even movie stars and other celebrities such as Beyonce are regular costumers in some of these shops! Some on the bus think they saw Ashton Kutcher, but we know the truth!!!

After all this excitement, we boarded this bus for a five hour ride to Merced, CA. Our hotel is the most extravagant of all the hotels we’ve seen yet. For dinner we went to a western style barbeque restaurant where some of us sat in jail cells to eat. Now, back at the hotel we are eager to finish this blog, so we can go take a dip in the pool J
